Sound Recording

For the past two years Ive been working as a freelancer Sound recordist/Boom operator on various productions. Ranging from RTE's Storyland to Virgin media Sharp Shorts.

Mustard

I had the opportunity to work on 2022's storylands scheme as a boom operator for the short film called Mustard. During the shoot I gained a lot of on set experience and it was a really fun project to work on. you can watch Mustard now on the RTE player linked below.

L . I . F . E

L.I.F.E was a short documentary I worked on as the sound recordist. The Documentary was about a filmmaker Dan Airey and his struggles with his disability and also pursuing his dream of working in the film industry.  It was an incredibly powerful experience to be apart of the project. An incredible short film to work with an amazing crew. You can now watch L.I.F.E on the Virgin media player linked below.

Tap, Tap, Tap

Tap, Tap, Tap was one of the first short films I worked on with myself and my friend Mij Alhajeri doing sound and camera. We were inspired by a horror short on YouTube called Lights out and we wanted to make something similar with a very simple premise film but also something that could be very relatable to the audience. The filming process was an interesting aspect as we had to adjust our story to the very limited space that we had. we shot the film in a 3 hour session. Overall I think Tap, Tap, Tap was a very unique experience and helped learn a lot about the process of filmmaking. If you to watch Tap, Tap, Tap it is linked below.
